The Grant Water and Sanitation District provides sewer and underdrain services directly to its customers.B The District provides water service indirectly through its full service contract with the Denver Water Department.

New Construction
The Grant Water and Sanitation District's requirements for the provision of water, sewer and underdrain services for undeveloped land is identified in Section 5Bof the District's Rules and Regulations.

The forms identified in Section 5 that are required to be submitted to the District can be downloaded from the Rules and Regulations Section under Exhibits. The District's easement standards, design specifications and standard details are also available to download
Service availability letters will be provided by the District for sanitary sewer and underdrain service only. Service availability for water service must be obtained from the Denver Water Department.

Sanitary Sewer Service (New Taps and/or Remodels)
The Grant Water and Sanitation District's requirements for sanitary sewer service connections are identified in Section 6Bof the District's Rules and Regulations.

Fixture Unit Computation Schedule
Plumbing plans along with the completed Fixture Unit Computation Schedule must be submitted to the District Engineer's office prior to submitting an Application for Sewer Tap Permit.B The District's Engineer will review the Fixture Unit Computation Schedule for accuracy as it relates to the plumbing plans submitted.B

Underdrain Service
The Grant Water and Sanitation District's requirements for underdrain service connections are identified in Section 7 of the District's Rules and Regulations.
Please read the underdrain Rules and Regulations carefully.B The Grant Water and Sanitation District is very unique in having an underdrain system.B All structures must have a foundation drain system that flows by gravity into the District's underdrain system unless an Underdrain Variance has been granted.B
If, after reading the requirements and tap application procedures, you have any questions or need the District's 4-part Application for Underdrain Tap Permit sent to you, please call the District Manager's office.

Water Service
The Grant Water and Sanitation District's requirements for water service connections are identified in Section 8 of the Districtbs Rules and Regulations.
The forms identified in Section 8 that are required to be submitted to the District must be obtained from the Denver Water Department. BExamples of these forms are provided in the District's Rules and Regulations section under Exhibits.B The green, "Outside the City and County of Denver" form must be submitted to the District Manager's office for signature along with a check for the District's water system development fee.B The District does not sign the blue, "Inside the City and County of Denver" form, however, a copy of the form along with a check for the District's water system development fee must be submitted to the District Manager's office.
