Elections for District Board Members will be in May 2018
Elections for Board positions are held in May of even numbered years. Candidates must be individuals who are registered voters in the State of Colorado. In addition, they must either reside in the District OR own taxable property in the District. Persons interested in serving on the Board must file a nomination form by late February preceding each election. Forms and instructions will be available in late January of election years.
Please contact the District Manager for further information about serving on the Board. Elected Board members serve four year terms unless they have been elected to fill an unexpired term created by a vacancy. If a vacancy occurs between elections, a replacement Board member is appointed by the Board to serve until the next election. In this event, the Board normally places an article in the local homeowners’ association newsletter seeking candidates, who are asked to submit a statement of interest and qualifications for Board consideration.
